EmbryoScope+ is a state-of-the-art embryonic incubator with an integrated time-lapse system, meaning it contains a camera inside that allows for continuous imaging of the development of each embryo during incubation.
It provides the embryos with an in vitro environment with gas concentrations (CO2, Oxygen) and temperature similar to those in our body. It also includes EmbryoViewer software, allowing for the analysis of high-resolution time-lapse images of each embryo generated in our incubator.
Among its benefits are:
Improvement of embryonic development: reduced disturbance of embryos in culture, since it is not necessary to remove them from the incubator for evaluation, thereby, the incubation conditions inside (levels of CO2, oxygen, temperature, and humidity) do not change, they remain constant throughout the entire incubation time of the embryos.
Improves implantation/pregnancy rate: in assisted reproduction treatments, it is necessary to have as much information as possible about developing embryos in order to select the best embryos for transfer, those with the highest potential for implantation and therefore the greatest chance of achieving pregnancy. Through the technology of the EmbryoScope+ time-lapse system, we can observe all embryos from a patient from fertilization to their transfer to the uterus, cryopreservation, or discarding, while conducting embryo selection based on their morphokinetic characteristics (morphology and cell division rhythms) analyzed with the assistance of EmbryoViewer software.
Allows us to observe the embryo's evolution in real-time.
Reduction in pregnancy loss rate.
Traceability in processes: Patients are automatically registered in EmbryoScope+ through barcoded labels, and immediately, an overview of patients by incubation day becomes available.
