It is a genetic analysis of chromosomal alterations that can be performed during pregnancy with a simple blood draw, in a completely safe way for you and your baby.
It allows us to rule out, with high reliability (99.9%), the presence of Down syndrome (and other syndromes) in the fetus using a blood sample from the mother, thereby avoiding exposing the fetus to any risk. It also allows us to know the fetal sex at 10 weeks of pregnancy.
It can be performed at any time during pregnancy, starting from week 10 and the result will be available within 5 to 7 working days.
